FP&A Analyst

As an FP&A Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis, helping the business make informed decisions. Your day-to-day will involve working with data, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the company runs efficiently and effectively.

A growing consumer goods business is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join its commercial finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move beyond traditional accounting and gain greater exposure to forecasting, budgeting and commercial decision-making.

Description

• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes


• Produce monthly management reporting and variance analysis


• Analyse revenue, costs and business performance against forecasts


• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning


• Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand performance


• Identify trends, risks and opportunities within financial results


• Assist with preparation of presentations and reporting for senior management


• Support ad-hoc commercial analysis and business cases

A successful FP&A Analyst should have:

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience


• Previous experience within management accounting, commercial finance or FP&A


• Strong Excel and analytical skills


• Confident working with large volumes of financial data


• Strong communication skills with an ability to explain numbers to non-finance stakeholders


• Commercially minded and keen to develop within FP&A

• Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
