Evergreen Foster Care is expanding our fostering family, and we are looking for compassionate, resilient individuals and families to join our specialist fostering service.
We provide highly specialised foster care placements for children transitioning from children’s homes into nurturing family environments. Our service supports children who may not usually be able to access standard foster care but can thrive within a stable, therapeutic home with the right support.
We are especially proud to offer bespoke fostering opportunities for brothers and sisters, helping siblings stay together and maintain those vital family relationships.
What We Offer
We recognise the dedication and commitment it takes to foster children with complex needs, which is why we provide an extensive professional support package, including:
Competitive Fees \& Allowances
- £43,142 – £46,473 per year based on caring for one child
- £86,280 – £92,940 per year based on caring for two siblings
- Additional payments available where respite is not used
- Up to 62 days respite per child per year
- Paid mileage at 50p per mile for trips outside normal daily activities
- Additional Birthday and Christmas allowances
- 24/7 dedicated support from professionals who know the child
- Planned and carefully matched placements
- Regular group training and support sessions
- Access to qualified therapists for carers and children
- Over 130 specialist online fostering courses
- Training in therapeutic parenting and positive handling

- Paid DBS and medical checks (reimbursed upon approval)
All placements are carefully planned and matched. Foster carers are fully involved in the matching process and have opportunities to meet the child and attend planning meetings before any move takes place, helping everyone feel prepared and supported.
