Forklift Driver

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling products, operating forklift equipment safely, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and mechanical aptitude to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment. Work is for 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment to load, unload, and move productswithin the warehouse


• Manage shipping and receiving tasks with precision and attention to detail


• Handle products carefully to prevent damage during transportation and storage


• Assist in organising stock storage areas to optimise space utilisation


• Support general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and staging goods for dispatch


• Conduct safety checks before operating machinery to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse setting


• Strong materials handling skills with an understanding of load capacities and safety protocols


• Ability to load \& unload goods efficiently while maintaining safety standards


• Experience in shipping \& receiving processes within a warehouse environment


• Basic maths skills for inventory counts and measurements


• Physical capability for lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking within the warehouse


• Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team


• Forklift license is required.
