Fork Lift Truck Driver

We are a Midlands based company that specialised in the design and manufacture of a wide range of transit packaging from timber, bespoke, heave duty and corrugated packaging. Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join out team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Ensuring the accurate and efficient loading and unloading of all consignments and logistic vehicles

· Moving goods produced from production area to storage facility.

· Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions

· Checking loads are secure.

· Operating within standard operating procedures

· Manually handling goods when necessary

· Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging battery and lubricating equipment.

· You must maintain a valid FLT counterbalance and combi licences and attend relevant internal training when required.

· Confidently operate a forklift truck in a fast\-paced environment

· Required to work in varying temperatures in loud, high\-volume environments performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

· You will be required to be flexible with ad\-hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements:

• Experience working on a Forklift.


• Experience replenishing Stock


• Current/valid FLT counterbalance licence up to 3 tonnes


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• The ability to work under pressure at times


• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• An understanding of H \& S, Site security awareness
