Nestled in the picturesque village of Wrea Green, The Villa Wrea Green is a beautiful country house hotel renowned for its weddings, events, dining, and hospitality. Following new ownership and ambitious investment plans, we're entering an exciting period of growth and are looking for an experienced Food \& Beverage Manager to help shape the future of our food and beverage operation.

The Role

As Food \& Beverage Manager, you will oversee the day\-to\-day operation of our restaurant, bars, and banqueting facilities, ensuring the highest standards of service across all guest touchpoints.

Working closely with the General Manager, Head Chef, Events Team and Front of House colleagues, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for guests attending weddings, events, conferences, dining occasions and hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop restaurant and bar teams.


• Manage day\-to\-day operations across the restaurant, bars and event spaces.


• Create and manage staffing rotas to support operational demands.


• Ensure exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.


• Maintain compliance with licensing laws, food hygiene and health \& safety requirements.


• Oversee stock control, ordering, storage and cost management.


• Coordinate with kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless service delivery.


• Monitor performance, identify improvements and implement operational efficiencies.


• Support budgeting, reporting and financial performance monitoring.


• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally during service and events.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• An experienced manager within a hotel food and beverage environment.


• A confident leader who can inspire and develop teams.


• Highly organised with excellent time management skills.


• An excellent communicator with strong people skills.


• Commercially aware and operationally focused.


• Flexible, enthusiastic and hands\-on in their approach.


• Comfortable using IT systems and hospitality software.


• Experienced in restaurant, bar and event operations within a quality hospitality environment.
