VACANCY: FLT / Warehouse Operative \- Weekends
LOCATION: Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)
PAY: £17\.51 per hour, plus annual profit share bonus.
SHIFT PATTERN : Friday to Sunday 6am \- 6pm, 3 x 12 hour days.

MTL Advanced is hiring due to a major expansion, marked by the opening of our brand\-new manufacturing facility, based in Rotherham just 5 minutes away from Meadowhall shopping centre.

We have invested in an extensive range of technology and equipment and provide services to a range of OEM’s from leading industries including defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling and rail.
Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication \& Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.
We are looking to add a multi\-skilled FLT Operative to join our Warehousing team. This is an exciting and varied role made up of supporting our operations ensuring that the stock movements around our 390,000sqft factory operate smoothly and efficiently.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
· Complete pre\-shift FLT checks
· Operate FLT equipment within the Warehouse
· Safe loading, unloading and movement of our Fork Lifts
· Daily stock location audits
· Accurate completion of documents (paper based and digital)
· Book in parts and put away on to racking into its appropriate location
· Pick parts from racking and deliver to internal departments
· Move product from Laser and Press bays to Warehouse and Despatch areas safely
ABOUT YOU:
· Valid and in\-date FLT Counterbalance licence
· Previous warehousing experience; logistics, despatch, FLT, engineering or manufacturing
· Excellent levels of numeracy and literacy
· A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
· Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
· Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
