Floor Staff

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced dedicated Floor Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of service, from assisting with food preparation to providing attentive customer service in a fast\-paced setting.

Must have

• Greeting and seating guests


• Provide information about our menus, offer appropriate recommendations, and communicate any menu changes or out of stock items to the guest straight away


• Communicate effectively with the bar and kitchen staff so that orders are completed accurately and efficiently


• Work well under pressure and in a fast\-paced environment


• Be a team player and support your fellow team members to ensure the customer receives the best experience possible


• Be polite with customers


• Participate in staff briefings and any training programs implemented to improve personal and departmental standards


• Report to shift on time and in the correct uniform


• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene


• Handles complaints as per instruction or consults the immediate supervisor/manager


• Upsell additional products when appropriate


• Accurately place food and drink orders using the POS system


• Serve food and drink orders


• Deliver checks and collect bill payments


• Follow all relevant health department regulations


• Carry dirty plates and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning


• Carry dirty glasses to the bar for cleaning


• Arrange tables to accommodate large bookings when required


• Check customer’s ID to ensure that they meet the age requirements for alcoholic beverage consumption


• Prepare tables by setting up silverware, napkins, and menus


• Maintain a clean and tidy dining and bar area by sweeping, mopping and dusting when needed


• Ensure the cake station is always clean and stocked


• Ensure you are complying with the allergen procedure in place and if unsure report to line manager


• Go above and beyond for our guests so that they leave the restaurant feeling satisfied and wanting to return


• Be a fun loving, energised team player


• Be willing to lend a hand to other departments whenever required


• Completion of open and closing duties


• In the fast paced environment of Hospitality and as part of a tight knit team it will sometimes be asked of you to do tasks that are not part of your day to day job description.


• To comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Team Handbook.

Pay: Up to £12\.21 per hour
