Flat Roofing Aftercare \& Minor Projects Manager Role
AYM (Services) Limited is a successful waterproofing roofing contractor with projects across London, the Southeast, Midlands and the Southwest, working in both the new build and refurbishment sectors.
We install flat roofing products from Alumasc, Axter, Bauder, IKO, Sika, Soprema and Proteus. As part of our flat roofing contracts, we also undertake mansafe systems, roof finishes and blue roof systems.
Due to our expanding business and continued success, we are now looking to recruit a Minor Projects and Aftercare Manager to join our Operations team.
Location
Based in Rochester Kent office, as well as working in and around London, Southeast, Midlands and Southwest
Salary
TBA, dependant on experience and qualifications
Employment Status
Full time PAYE
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (working hours are subject to change and fluctuations depending on day\-to\-day activities)
Pension
Company pension offered after 3 months of employment; 5% Employee contribution \& 3% Employers contribution

22 days plus bank holidays
Aftercare Manager Outline Duties \& Responsibilities
Not limited to:
\- Log any emails or transmittals from Clients on AYM’s internal tracking system
\- Speak to Client and tenants and arrange a site inspection of reported issue / works
\- Involve and liaise with the warranty manufacturer as / if required
\- Issue a report on findings, following the initial inspection
\- Agree plan for attendance and to close out an actions, variations, or repairs
\- Discuss commercial recovery with QS
\- Produce and issue RAMS, permits, paperwork and issue to the Client
\- Organise labour and materials needed to safely undertake the works
\- Raise any purchase orders for materials needed
\- Produce report on completion of works and issue to the Client
\- Update internal tracker to reflect actions and close out date
\- Maintain all aftercare reports and folders on OneDrive
\- Ensure labour sheets are completed and issued to the commercial team
Minor Projects Manager Outline Duties \& Responsibilities
Not limited to:
\- Attend site and meet the Client to plan and discuss works
\- Produce RAMS and prestart documentation to safely undertake the works
\- Discuss labour options with the Commercial Manager
\- Review Scope of Works, shopping list, latest drawings, etc. to plan works
\- Liaise with systems manufacturer to ensure compliance
\- Assist, organise and control directly employed and sub\-contract labour
\- Review and assist with the approval of PAYE and S/C timesheets
\- Sit with the AYM Programme Manager to establish and understand programmes and our works, alongside liaising with the Client
\- Order materials based on schedules and knowledge of roof areas via tablet
\- Plan and arrange material deliveries to meet programme requirements
\- Ensure that the works are carried out safely and in accordance with Company requirements
\- Complete daily and weekly site forms as required
\- Record any variations as they occur and advise your Line Manager (No works are to be carried out without written instruction from Clients, in line with Contract Procedures)
\- Ensure works are installed as per approved working drawings and specification
\- Liaise with company employed subcontractors and ensure their work meets our requirements
\- Maintain a good working relationship with both our operatives and the Main Contractor / Client, including attending meetings as required
\- Organise plant, craneage etc to meet programme and cost plan
\- Attend site meetings as required by AYM and the Client
\- Enforce Health and Safety on site at all times
\- Issue weekly progress report inclusive of marked up roof plans and programme assessment
\- Take commercial and operational control of the project(s) you are involved with
\- Issue and report progress to your Operations Manager daily / weekly and monthly including reports on progress, materials on site and blockers.
Experience \& Qualifications
Beneficial:
\- Flat Roofing \& Waterproofing Experience
\- Good understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
\- Customer service and Client friendly
\- Commercial awareness
\- Positive can do attitude
\- Based in the Southeast of England
\- Current UK driving licence
