Job Overview
Due to our continued success, we are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. This field\-based role will involve installing and commissioning fire sprinkler systems across a variety of domestic and residential properties throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission of fire sprinkler systems across a range of residential and domestic buildings
- Install of sprinkler system from start to finish, including commissioning of plots.
- Install of Pumps and Tanks required
- Diagnosing and repairing faults, ensuring systems remain fully operational
- Performing system upgrades and modifications to meet evolving client requirements
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with British Standards and health and safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate records, including stock reports and time sheets
- Taking pride in your work and the maintenance of your equipment and company vehicle
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years experience in fire sprinkler system install
- Strong technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems \& BS 9251:2021
- Excellent fault diagnosis and problem\-solving abilities
- Experience with CPVC pipe
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and system specifications
- Familiarity with British Standards and fire safety regulations
- Strong organisational and time\-management skills
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to install pumps and tanks
- Ability to commission sprinkler systems
- Ability to install monitored and non\-monitored valve sets
- Experience on a construction site
- Methodical, detail\-oriented approach to work
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Self\-motivated and proactive
- Commitment to health and safety practices in all tasks
