Fire & Security Trainee Engineer

We’re looking for a reliable, practical, and motivated person to join our team as a Trainee Fire \& Security Engineer. You’ll receive full training to work with life\-saving technology — installing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, and security systems.

No two days are the same, and you’ll finish each day knowing your work helps protect people and property.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Shadow experienced engineers and assist in installing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems


• Learn to troubleshoot faults, carry out basic repairs, and support with routine service visits


• Get hands\-on with technical drawings, tools, and system layouts


• Help complete job reports and keep equipment organised


• Build the knowledge and confidence to eventually manage tasks on your own

What You Bring:

You don’t need technical experience — we’ll teach you everything you need to know. We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with their hands or solving practical problems


• Has a good attitude, is dependable, and wants to learn a skilled trade


• Is comfortable learning new technology and following instructions


• Communicates well and works well in a team


• Holds a full UK driving licence or is working towards one (preferred but not essential)

Experience in any of the following areas is helpful, but not required: construction, trades, customer service, logistics, or technical support.
