We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire \& Security Senior Support Engineer to join our strong team.

You will play a key part in supporting both customers and site engineers, ensuring high quality service delivery and compliance across all installation and maintenance activities. The hybrid role is shared between office and site locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, organising, and coordination and completion of installations

  • Provide high level technical support to engineers

  • Diagnose and resolve faults across fire and security systems

  • Attend customer premises to investigate issues and repair faults

  • Document all findings, remedial works and recommended actions

  • Ensure all works comply with NSI standards, contributing to audit readiness and quality assurance.

  • Manage CRM software \& implementation of new technology

  • Understanding reports on key activities to presentation to management

  • Manage and participate in OOH on\-call rota

  • Control of engineering equipment and vehicles

Requirements

Technical : Applicants must demonstrate a high level of competency and understanding across core fire and security systems, including the following manufacturers products:

  • Intruder Systems: Honeywell Galaxy. Pyronix

  • Access Control: Paxton, Stanley

  • CCTV: Vista, HIK

  • Fire Alarm Systems: Advanced, Kentec, C\-TEC

Management:

· IT Literate: Microsoft suite, CASH or similar CRM software

· Financial controls: Stock \& time management

· Staff Management

· Result Reporting

Experience \& Skills:

  • Proven experience in Fire \& Security installation or management role

  • Strong fault\-finding and diagnostic skills across multiple systems

  • Working within NSI or SSAIB compliance frameworks

  • Excellent communication skills \- both colleagues and customers

  • Ability to manage workload and contribute to Team workload

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting

  • Clear understanding of commerce

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Glasgow (Glasgow, Glasgow)
