Fire and Security Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems across various sites. Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain fire detection, alarm systems, CCTV, access control, Networking and other security solutions


• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately assemble and troubleshoot system components


• Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out installation tasks efficiently and safely


• Conduct system testing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality


• Collaborate with project teams during construction phases to integrate security systems seamlessly into building infrastructure


• Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance


• Ensure all work adheres to health \& safety regulations and company policies

• Minimum 5 years of experience in installation


• Full UK Manual Licence


• Be happy to work on sites themselves and as part of a team


• Strong knowledge of system design principles for fire detection and security systems


• Mechanical knowledge relevant to installation procedures and equipment handling


• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and other construction\-related equipment


• Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings


• Electrical experience with wiring, circuit testing, and troubleshooting electrical components


• Familiarity with construction processes and site safety protocols


• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
