Eastern Fire Protection Ltd is a growing fire protection company operating across Essex, London, Hertfordshire and the wider South East. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team.

The Role
As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and fault\-finding of fire alarm systems across commercial and domestic sites.
The role will involve working on a variety of projects, including commercial premises, residential developments, offices, warehouses and new\-build projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
- Installation of fire alarm cabling and containment where required
- Installation and connection of fire alarm devices
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Emergency call\-outs when required
- Working in accordance with BS 5839 and relevant industry standards
- Liaising professionally with customers, main contractors and other trades
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service
- Previous experience working with fire alarm systems
- Good understanding of BS 5839
- Experience with addressable fire alarm systems
- Ability to fault\-find and diagnose system faults
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer\-service skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with systems from manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C\-TEC, Hochiki, Apollo, Notifier And Gent or similar would be advantageous.
