Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded FP\&A lead to join our finance team in a high\-impact role. This is an opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys turning numbers into insight, challenging performance, and partnering with senior stake holders to drive growth.

As FP\&A Lead, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, improving business performance, and ensuring leadership teams have the right insight needed to make confident, data driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long range planning process.


• Deliver insightful monthly performance reporting, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.


• Partner with operational leads to challenge assumptions and support strategic decision making.


• Provide deep analysis of our debt book, ensuring required provisions are in place.


• Develop and enhance KPI reporting, dashboards, and management information packs.


• Lead, coach, and develop finance analyst.

Qualifications

• Professional Accountancy Qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)

Essential knowledge \& skills needed

• Strong experience in FP\&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles.


• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actions.


• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes.


• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.


• A proactive, curious, and commercially focused mindset.


• Experience managing or mentoring finance team members.


• Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence to challenge and influence at senior levels.

Desirable knowledge \& skills

• ​​​​​​​Intermediate SQL / Power BI skills.
