Financial Controller

A fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to join a dynamic hospitality operation, working closely with the General Manager to drive financial performance, maximise profitability and support strategic decision\-making.

The successful candidate will take ownership of all financial operations, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and insightful business analysis across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports


• Oversee all financial accounting processes and statutory reporting requirements


• Manage cash flow forecasting and banking relationships


• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process


• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability


• Manage payroll, credit control and accounts payable functions


• Produce benchmarking and commercial performance analysis


• Support business improvement projects, systems development and process enhancements


• Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders as required

The Ideal Candidate

• ATT qualified or in the process of qualifying


• Previous Financial Controller or senior finance leadership experience within hospitality


• Strong commercial awareness and business partnering skills


• Experience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts


• Proven ability to drive efficiencies and improve financial performance


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Hands\-on leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels
