Dispatch Operator

Overview

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and organised Dispatch Operator on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the dispatch process, ensuring efficient transportation management, and maintaining seamless communication across supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting dispatch operations.


• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods.


• Ensuring goods are prepared and distributed efficiently.


• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including documentation related to


• Support shipping \& receiving functions by preparing documentation and organising transportation schedules.


• General warehouse duties .

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a dispatch environment is desirable but not essential.


• Effective communication skills for liaising with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.


• Knowledge of shipping \& receiving procedures within a logistics environment.


• Have their own vehicle as requirements in their shift may change requiring staff to stay after planned finish time.

As this position requires frequent coordination with a wide range of staff, the ability to communicate clearly , build positive working relationships, and provide excellent customer service is essential .

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.00 per hour
