About the Role

At Bolt Insight, we're looking for a Finance Specialist to take true ownership of our invoice\-to\-cash operations and the day\-to\-day finance administration that keeps everything running smoothly. This is a hands\-on, individual contributor role with real breadth — and if you love variety, structure, and making a tangible impact, this one's for you.

You'll manage the full invoicing lifecycle, keep our enterprise client portals in great shape, chase down payments and purchase orders, run our weekly payment cycle for partners and freelancers, and handle the internal finance queries that sit behind a well\-oiled finance function. Working closely with account managers, sales, client finance teams, and our outsourced accountants, you'll sit within the Finance function and report directly to the CFO.

What You'll Be Doing

*Enterprise Client Portals and Invoicing Platforms*

  • Get Bolt set up and running on enterprise supplier portals (Ariba, Coupa, and equivalents) and keep our vendor records accurate and up to date

  • Submit invoices through client portals, making sure every submission meets client requirements and deadlines

  • Be the go\-to person for portal queries, compliance requests, and supplier documentation

  • Stay ahead of platform updates and flag anything that could affect our invoicing timelines
*Invoice Processing*
  • Keep a clean, well\-organised invoice register — correctly coded, referenced, and filed

  • Work with account managers to confirm billing triggers and iron out any discrepancies before submission
*Receivables and Payment Chasing*
  • Track invoice status across all active clients and keep our receivables tracker current

  • Chase outstanding payments directly with client finance and accounts payable teams — confidently and professionally

  • Stay proactive on aged debt and keep internal stakeholders in the loop on payment timelines

  • Build strong relationships with client finance contacts to make recurring payment processes smoother for everyone
*Purchase Order Management*
  • Chase and secure POs from internal stakeholders — including sales and account management — before invoices go out

  • Maintain a clear PO tracker covering status, reference numbers, and any blockers

  • Flag missing or delayed POs early so nothing holds up our submissions
*Partner and Freelancer Payments*
  • Own the weekly outbound payment cycle for partners, panel providers, and freelancers

  • Verify payment details, match to approved POs or agreements, and process payments accurately

  • Respond to payment queries from partners and freelancers promptly and professionally

  • Maintain accurate payment records and support month\-end reconciliation
*Finance Administration and Internal Support*
  • Be the first port of call for internal finance queries from across the business — resolving what you can and escalating where needed

  • Support our outsourced accountants with documents, data, and transaction queries for month\-end and annual close

  • Prepare and maintain financial reporting packs and schedules, so everything is accurate and ready ahead of deadlines

  • Play an active role in finance system upgrades and process improvement projects, coordinating with external providers and internal teams
What We're Looking For
  • 2–6 years of experience in a finance operations, accounts receivable, billing, or finance admin role

  • Hands\-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or a similar cloud accounting platform — these are our core systems

  • Experience with enterprise procurement and invoicing platforms; SAP Ariba or Coupa is a strong advantage

  • Someone who thrives working independently and managing a varied workload without needing day\-to\-day supervision

  • Detail\-oriented, structured, and thorough — you chase, track, and close outstanding items without things slipping through the cracks

  • A clear, confident communicator who works well with both internal teams and external client finance departments

  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
