Are you an experienced Finance Officer looking for your next opportunity within a supportive and professional organisation? We are recruiting for a Temp to Perm Finance Officer based in Bromley, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.

This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit a finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day financial operations and supporting the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Ledger processing, including matching, batching and coding invoices


• Sales Ledger administration and credit control


• Raising sales invoices and managing customer accounts


• Processing supplier payments and payment runs


• Resolving supplier and customer queries


• Bank reconciliations


• Credit card and petty cash reconciliations


• Cash allocation and monitoring cash flow


• Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures


• Preparing and posting journals, accruals and prepayments


• VAT returns and associated reconciliations


• Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers


• Assisting with management accounts preparation


• Budget monitoring and expenditure reporting


• Payroll support and reconciliation as required


• Balance sheet reconciliations


• Maintaining fixed asset registers


• Producing financial reports for management


• Supporting audits and providing documentation as required


• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers


• Assisting with process improvements and ensuring financial compliance

• Previous experience within a Finance Officer, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role


• Strong working knowledge of purchase and sales ledger processes


• Good reconciliation experience


• Confident user of finance systems and Microsoft Excel


• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills


• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload


• Excellent communication skills
