Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, detail driven Finance/Office Assistant to join our small team based in Moulton.
You will play a key role in managing the Federation's day\-to\-day financial operations and support the smooth running of the Federation's office.
Hours will be mutually agreed and salary is dependent upon experience.
Duties
- Inputting financial transactions into the accounting system in a timely manner.
- Banking incoming cash and cheques.
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and providing financial reports.
- Preparing and managing cash floats for events.
- Producing invoices and chasing overdue payments.
- Preparing financial figures for events and production of other financial reports as may be required.
- Maintaining up\-to\-date contact details for members.
- Assisting the Federation Treasurer and liaising with individual WI members within the county as required.
- Assisting with preparation and attending the Federation's Annual General Meeting.
- Assisting with special events and general office tasks as required.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good general office administration skills.
- Good organisational skills with ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible.
