Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, detail driven Finance/Office Assistant to join our small team based in Moulton.

You will play a key role in managing the Federation's day\-to\-day financial operations and support the smooth running of the Federation's office.

Hours will be mutually agreed and salary is dependent upon experience.

Duties

  • Inputting financial transactions into the accounting system in a timely manner.

  • Banking incoming cash and cheques.

  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and providing financial reports.

  • Preparing and managing cash floats for events.

  • Producing invoices and chasing overdue payments.

  • Preparing financial figures for events and production of other financial reports as may be required.

  • Maintaining up\-to\-date contact details for members.

  • Assisting the Federation Treasurer and liaising with individual WI members within the county as required.

  • Assisting with preparation and attending the Federation's Annual General Meeting.

  • Assisting with special events and general office tasks as required.
Skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero.

  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Good general office administration skills.

  • Good organisational skills with ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Able to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Flexible.
Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
