Role Overview
We are seeking a personable, commercially minded Finance Manager, responsible for the finance operation of Potters Farm Production LLP and provide support/cover for Yorkshire Farmhouse Eggs Limited. Ensuring accurate and timely processing, reporting and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer and supplier invoice processing, allocated per farm/shed.
- Management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Cashflow management, bank payments, postings and reconciliations.
- Submission of VAT Returns.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, flock reports and rearing cost reports.
- Working with and assisting other Managers and Directors on other general business matters such as payroll, HR, insurance, health and safety.
- Working closely with and providing cover for accounts on Yorkshire Farmhouse Eggs Limited.
- Fortnightly payroll summarising timesheets for management approval, updating holidays, setting up payments and accounts journals.
- Preparation of information and assistance during year end audit.
- Relevant accounting professional qualifications.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Industry knowledge and use of departments would be of benefit but not essential.
- Knowledge of Sage, Xero, BreatheHR and use of excel preferred.
