Finance Manager - Revenue Accountant

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis • Own reporting for all revenue-related general ledger accounts across both the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness as the business evolves.
- Prepare and maintain revenue reporting for inclusion in Board packs and management reporting.
- Deliver revenue-focused analysis and insights to support decision-making by the senior finance team.
- Maintain accurate deferred income and accrued revenue schedules.
- Review and validate sales orders, campaign delivery data, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor compliance with commercial agreements, trade deals, and partner arrangements.
- Ensure sales commission calculations are accurate and applied in line with agreed structures.
- Manage the debtor ledger and support cash collection activities to achieve agreed DSO targets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate complex matters where appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen controls, efficiency, and data quality.
Experience • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least five years' post-qualified or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a revenue accounting, commercial finance, or similar role.
- Experience within advertising, media, marketing services, or a similarly fast-paced, commercially driven environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong systems knowledge, including advanced spreadsheet skills; experience with Salesforce, Accounting Seed, or Datarails would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.

- Confident building relationships across the business, with the credibility and communication skills to partner effectively with sales teams and senior stakeholders.
