Role overview

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager who will be responsible for the financial statements and the end\-to\-end for a variety of financial tasks at Allianz Services Portugal.

What you do:

  • Perform Reporting Closing activities: ensure that all IFRS, Local GAAP and Statutory closing and reporting tasks (e.g. annual report, reporting to regulatory authorities, SVT reporting) are accurate and on time;

  • Refine the technical accounting process e.g document application of policies, procedures and workflows;

  • Develop high performing stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders e.g. other departments, business units, Group Accounting, auditors, tax authorities, public authorities, etc;

  • Financial controlling of Actual versus Planned revenues costs to meet the PL target;

  • Setup and maintain financial charging processes in alignment with the management and customers;

  • Create and analyze regular and ad\-hoc reports from SAP CAP/BAP, to support inquiries;

  • Initiate invoices of Services to the customers and internal departments via MS Dynamics and SAP;

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders using SAP MM;

  • Determine and enter monthly accruals to be made in the respective tool.
What you bring:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Financial, Economic or Accounting;

  • Experience in Accounting, financial audit, controlling or similar financial area;

  • Accounting certification (TOC) is nice to have;

  • Excellent oral and written communication in English and Portuguese;

  • Fundamental business management knowledge and basic technical understanding;

  • Strong organizational, planning and structuring skills;

  • Independent and intrinsically motivated, with ability to work on own initiative;

  • Ability to handle complex processes (closing, reporting, finance operations) including understanding of data flows;

  • Ability to work under pressure while providing high qualitative results and ability to solve problems independently;

  • Proven understanding of standard accounting (IAS/IFRS and local GAAP);

  • Knowledge in SAP, GenAI and Data Analysis;
