Job Description:
As the Finance Director, you will be at the helm of our finance and administrative operations, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with company policies. You will manage a team of accountants and HR/administrators and report directly to senior leadership. Your role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity, enabling strategic decisions, and driving growth across our Real Estate and Healthcare businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the finance and administrative functions, providing strategic direction and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and HR/administrators, fostering a collaborative and high\-performance work environment.
- Line manage the Finance manager and finance administrators which includes weekly supervision, probation reviews and annual appraisals.
- Drive the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial records, including regular reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Partner with the Healthcare business arm to administer and optimize financial management software, ensuring seamless operations.
- Play a pivotal role in compiling the weekly Management Information System report, providing insights for informed decision\-making.
- Engage proactively with suppliers and customers, fostering positive relationships and effective communication.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's growth objectives.
- Contribute to the refinement of financial processes, utilizing technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA (fully qualified preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management role.
- Strong background in dealing with finance in the Health and Social Care industry and Real Estate sector is a significant advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Fluent spoken Chinese and Korean would be highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with SAGE Line 50 and SAGE Payroll is essential.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
