Job Overview

Rope Green Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Finance and Data Manager to join our practice team. We are looking for someone with strong numeracy, excellent attention to detail, confidence with financial systems and spreadsheets, and the ability to interpret and present information clearly.This vacancy has arisen due to the planned retirement of our current post\-holder later this year, and we hope to appoint in time to allow a short overlap period for handover and training. We are therefore looking to interview on Thursday 11th June or Friday 12th June.

This is an important and varied role, supporting the Practice Manager and GP Partners with the effective running of practice finances, income monitoring, financial reporting and data searches. The successful candidate will help ensure the practice has accurate, timely financial information and is able to make informed decisions about income, expenditure, cash flow and future planning.

Duties

• The role includes day\-to\-day finance management using Xero, payroll and pension support, invoice processing, liaison with accountants, monitoring NHS income streams, and preparing reports and forecasts for the partners. The post\-holder will also support practice data work, including Excel reporting, EMIS searches, audits, QOF/enhanced service reporting and patient communication campaigns.

We are looking for someone with strong numeracy, excellent attention to detail, confidence with financial systems and spreadsheets, and the ability to interpret and present information clearly. Previous experience in general practice, NHS finance or primary care data would be highly desirable, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with transferable finance and data skills.

Desirable

Experience of Xero Experience of EMIS searches or primary care clinical systems Understanding of NHS income streams, QOF, enhanced services or GP practice finance AAT, bookkeeping, accounting or relevant business/finance qualification Degree\-level education or equivalent experience

Pay: £34,000\.00\-£42,000\.00 per year
