Finance & Business Administrator
Start Date: 1st September 2026
The Role
We are looking for an organised, professional and dependable Finance \& Business Administrator to support the day\-to\-day financial administration of RPS Telecom.
This is a varied part\-time role for someone with a positive, can\-do attitude who is willing to get involved, learn our processes and support the wider team. Full training on our systems and procedures will be provided.
The Role Will Include
- Processing, filing and checking supplier invoices
- Maintaining a regular supplier invoice tracker
- Supporting account system administration
- Checking that expected supplier invoices and supporting paperwork have been received
- Responding professionally to customer account queries
- Preparing payment information, including direct debit administration
- Updating spreadsheets and internal records
- Chasing missing paperwork or information where required
- Supporting the documentation of accounts and administration processes
- Assisting with general business and office administration
- Supporting the wider team with agreed administrative tasks
The role is for 12 hours per week, worked across three set days:
Monday – 4 hours
Wednesday – 4 hours
Friday – 4 hours
Each four\-hour shift will be worked between 11:00am and 5:00pm. The exact start and finish times will be discussed and agreed during the interview process.
We are happy to discuss flexibility around school runs and family commitments, provided the agreed four hours are worked each day and business requirements continue to be met.
Hybrid Working
Hybrid working will be available once initial training has been completed and the successful candidate can work independently.
The role requires attendance at our Cwmbran office for at least one day per week. Additional office attendance may occasionally be required for training, meetings or business needs.

The role is initially offered on a six\-month fixed\-term contract.
At the end of the contract, the position will be reviewed based on performance, reliability, professionalism and ongoing business requirements. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right person, although permanent employment is not guaranteed.
Pay: £13\.00\-£14\.00 per hour
