The Role
The finance department supports the business in it’s issuing and processing of all invoices, payments in and out of the business, collections in line with contracted terms. The role is to support management accountant in the processing, coding and payment of supplier overhead invoices along with month end journal postings, management information and balance sheet reconciliations

Primary Responsibilities
- Month end Sales Ledger analysis including review and reconciliation of Sales Daybooks
- Month end accruals and prepayments
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Month end journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- The provision of month end management information with overhead variance analysis
- Debtor / Creditor day calculations
- Data analysis and reporting to support decision making
- Support for management accountant
- Preparation of internal/external customer and referrer calculations
- All supplier processes including: invoices, payments and statement reconciliations
- Company Expenses including credit cards
- Maintaining company PO system
- Other ad\-hoc work
Personal Specification
The ideal candidate will be someone who is assertive, enthusiastic, confident and able to demonstrate good communication and have analytical skills. The candidate will be someone with relevant finance experience and be qualified or studying towards a relevant professional finance qualification.
In addition to these skills the candidate will require the following
- Demonstrate advanced excel skills
- An analytical mind with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, verbally and in writing
- An eagerness to learn and develop by taking on new challenges
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative, as well as an enthusiastic team player
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- MS office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Salary £26k pa depending on experience
- Monday – Friday 37\.5hrs
- 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
