Job Purpose
To assist and support the Finance Manager with the following:
- Business analysis
- Management accounts
- Client accounts
- Balance sheet
- Profit and loss account
- Cashflow
- Payroll
- Bank Reconciliation
- Periodical Control Account Reconciliation
- HR \- Holidays, employment contracts (permanent \& contractors), reviews, implementing HR policies and procedures
- Contract management
- Filing, archiving
Key Accountabilities
- Perform daily/weekly/periodically clients reconciliation to RSP reporting data
- Assistance with management accounts
- Monitor daily cash position alerting Finance Manager of any emerging risks
- Raising invoices, credit notes and general credit control and liaising with customers and suppliers and resolving issues.
- Measure debtor and creditor days and optimise to the benefit of the Company
- Responsible for holiday schedule, employment contracts (permanent \& contractors)
- Reviews and improving standards, implementing HR policies and procedures
- Part qualified accountancy qualification ( ACCA, CIMA , AAT ) desirable with minimum 2 years hands on experience in a finance environment.
- Demonstrable experience of working in management accounting
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques
- Display an ability to work quickly and accurately in analysing data
- Good computer skills ( Excel and Word )
- A requirement to conduct tasks in a discreet and confidential manner
- Attending board meeting and taking minutes
- Experience in using Exact accounting software or any similar software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Confident with IT (especially Excel and Exact/any accounting software packages)
- Willing to learn with can do job done attitude
- Good communications skills (written and verbal)
- Happy working as part of a team
- Discreet and trustworthy
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£34,000\.00 per year
