Field Service & Installation Engineer

Location: Remote (ideally North London location). Office location: Gatwick \| Hours: 40 hours per week \+ overtime \| Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday with TOIL)

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Field Service \& Installation Engineer to join our Field Operations Team. You will work alongside our mobile engineering team to install, service, maintain and repair perimeter security products, including gates, barriers and road blockers.

You will visit new and existing clients across the UK, with potential opportunities for overseas travel. The role works on a 5 day in 6 rota, which may include some Saturdays, with a weekday off in lieu.

Key Responsibilities
========================

• Install, service, maintain and repair perimeter security products, including gates, barriers and road blockers.


• Attend routine maintenance visits, installations, emergency call\-outs and repair jobs.


• Work with clients in a professional, customer\-focused manner.


• Complete accurate records of checks, work completed and follow\-up actions after each client visit.


• Manage stock, materials and parts kept on your vehicle, ensuring you are prepared for each job.


• Work closely with the administration team and report directly to the Head of Field Engineering.

You will be self\-motivated, confident and committed to completing work to a high standard. You will have a practical approach to problem solving, a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Essential Requirements
==========================

• Full clean UK driving licence.


• Good level of physical fitness due to the practical demands of the role.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to pass required security clearances.


• Electrical, mechanical or hydraulic experience.

• CSCS Card.


• IPAF qualification.


• PASMA qualification.
