About Aspin Collins

Aspin Collins is an independent British manufacturer of bespoke joinery and panel products, based in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester. We manufacture MFC furniture, wine racks, kitchen doors, fitted furniture, salon furniture, and a wide range of interior components — supplying trade, retail, and direct\-to\-consumer customers across the UK.

With over 14 years of industry experience and a growing product range, we are expanding our commercial operation and are looking for a proven sales professional to represent us in the field.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, self\-motivated Field Sales Executive to grow our B2B trade sales across the kitchen, bedroom, and interior sectors. This is a field\-based position requiring someone who is happy to get behind the wheel, pick up the phone, and build genuine relationships with kitchen retailers, showrooms, independent joiners, interior designers, and trade buyers.

This is a hunter role. We will be straight with you: we do not have a bank of warm leads or an existing field sales structure to hand you. You will be expected to find, develop, and close your own accounts from the ground up — using your industry knowledge, your contacts, and your drive. If you need leads fed to you, this is not the right opportunity.

For the right person, that is exactly the appeal. You will be building something from scratch, with the full backing of a manufacturer that has the products, the capability, and the ambition to support serious growth. As the business develops, there is genuine scope for this role to evolve — whether that means a larger territory, a team, or a more senior commercial position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Self\-generate all leads through cold calling, door knocking, networking, LinkedIn, local research, and industry knowledge — there is no warm lead pipeline to inherit

  • Proactively identify and visit potential trade customers including kitchen retailers, bedroom showrooms, interior designers, and joinery businesses

  • Make outbound calls using a business landline to prospect, follow up, and manage your pipeline

  • Build and maintain strong, long\-term relationships with trade accounts

  • Present and demonstrate the Aspin Collins product range — including wine racks, kitchen doors, handles, components, and fitted furniture

  • Attend trade shows and industry events as required

  • Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and convert leads to orders

  • Manage your own diary, mileage, and travel efficiently

  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline, activity, and wins to the directors

  • Represent the brand professionally at all times — in person, on the phone, and by email

  • Keep your vehicle, samples, and materials clean, organised, and presentable
What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record in field sales within the kitchen, bedroom, or interior products industry

  • Demonstrable history of self\-generating leads and building a book of business from cold — not inheriting an existing customer base

  • Demonstrable history of hitting or exceeding sales targets and generating commission earnings

  • Experience selling into independent retailers, showrooms, or trade accounts

  • Confident with the full sales cycle — prospecting, pitching, closing, and account management

  • Comfortable making cold and warm calls on a business landline

  • Competent with email and basic computer use for correspondence and reporting
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle

  • Based in Greater Manchester or within commutable distance

  • Right to work in the UK
The Package

We offer a competitive basic salary combined with a generous commission structure that rewards performance. We are not looking for someone to coast on a basic — we want someone who wants to earn and will be motivated by commission. The right candidate will have the opportunity to build a substantial earnings package.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first three months, you will have identified your target accounts, begun building relationships through cold outreach and visits, and started generating your first orders. Within six months, you will have a core group of active trade accounts and a repeatable approach to growing them. We are not expecting overnight results — we are expecting consistent, professional effort and a growing pipeline. We want someone who builds something real and lasting.
