Field Engineer - Decarbonizer

Overview:

Join the UK's largest field service network of Decarbonizer engineers and technicians, serving hospitality customers daily. As a Field\-Based Decarbonizer Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our Decarbonizer machines at customer sites across the UK. Your responsibilities will include performing monthly detergent changes, conducting repairs, and ensuring compliance through Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). Covering Croydon, Redhill and Crawley

Key Responsibilities:

Detergent Maintenance:

• Perform monthly detergent changes on Decarbonizer tanks as part of maintenance contracts.


• Ensure correct handling and disposal of detergents in compliance with safety guidelines.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with Decarbonizer machines.


• Replace faulty components and ensure machines are restored to optimal working condition.

• Conduct regular PAT testing on Decarbonizer equipment to ensure safety and compliance with UK regulations.


• Maintain accurate records of all PAT tests conducted.

• Communicate effectively with customers to schedule maintenance visits and address service concerns.


• Provide guidance on the proper use and care of Decarbonizer machines.

• Complete service reports detailing work performed, parts used, and any further recommendations.


• Update maintenance logs and ensure all documentation is accurate and up\-to\-date.

• Proven experience in field service engineering, preferably within the hospitality or cleaning equipment industry.


• Certification in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).


• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.


• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.


• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule effectively.


• Valid UK driving license.

• Field\-based role requiring travel to various customer sites across the UK.


• Flexibility to work outside standard hours if necessary to meet customer needs.
