Female Health Care assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Health Care Assistant to provide high\-quality care within a care home setting. The successful candidate will support residents with their daily needs, promote independence, and ensure their comfort and well\-being. Duties

• Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Supporting residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times


• Administering medication in accordance with care plans and protocols


• Monitoring residents’ health and reporting any concerns to senior staff


• Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems


• Engaging in meaningful communication to promote residents’ emotional well\-being


• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary


• Supporting residents in activities of daily living to promote independence


• Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided


• Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving community visits or outings


• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and documentation


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and team members


• Ability to work as part of a team and follow care plans accurately


• Respectful attitude towards residents' privacy, dignity, and individual needs

Pay: £12\.71\-£14\.50 per hour
