Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Female Driver Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our compassionate home care team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized support to clients in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. Your primary responsibility will be to drive clients safely to appointments, errands, and social activities while delivering high\-quality care tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to transport clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, social outings, and other destinations within the local area.


• Deliver personalized domiciliary care by assisting clients with daily activities such as medication reminders, personal hygiene, and mobility support.


• Follow detailed care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals to meet each client’s unique needs.


• Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and care teams to ensure consistent and effective support.


• Keep accurate records of transportation schedules, care activities, and any incidents or concerns during visits.


• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including vehicle maintenance checks and infection control procedures.


• Use IT systems efficiently to update client records and communicate with the care team as required.

Requirements

• Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving in local areas preferred.


• Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous.


• Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans accurately.


• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.


• Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.


• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards vulnerable individuals.


• Flexibility to work varied hours according to client needs and scheduling demands.

Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
