Female Care Worker

WE NEED CARERS IN OXFORD, NEWBURY, WITNEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

We also need a live in carer in Birmingham.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of complex care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering companionship, assistance with daily activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. This position requires a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.


• Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.


• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.


• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.


• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.


• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.


• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy to understand client needs effectively.


• Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and respect for clients' dignity.


• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.


• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.


• Patience and adaptability to respond effectively to the changing needs of clients.


• Ability to use PEG and Vast knowledge about PEG


• Seizure management
