Shift Pattern: 13\-hour waking night shifts (20:30 – 09:30\)

Join our dedicated team at FAASS, a unique residential family assessment and support centre providing 12\-week placements for parents and their babies where parenting support needs have been identified by Social Services.
We work with families facing complex challenges, helping parents build the skills, confidence, and stability needed to provide safe, nurturing care for their children. Many of the babies supported by our service may be vulnerable to trauma, neglect, or abuse, while parents may be experiencing difficulties linked to learning needs, previous substance misuse, domestic instability, or other life challenges.

About the Role
As a Family Support Worker – Waking Nights, you will play an essential role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for families during overnight hours.
You will work closely with parents, offering guidance, reassurance, and practical support while observing family interactions and recording progress as part of our specialist assessment service. Our work is delivered in partnership with Social Services and the Family Court, making accurate observations and strong communication essential.

What We’re Looking For
To join our valued team, you will ideally have:
- Experience working in a care setting, with children, or within a supportive environment (full training provided)
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and protecting children and young people
- Strong written communication skills, including good spelling and grammar
- Basic IT skills to maintain records using our in\-house systems
- A full UK driving licence
