Job Title: Experienced Family Support Worker
£13:45 Per Hour
We are offering 0 hour contracts, inclusive of SSP and holiday pay.

Our office is based in Newton Le Willows Helens. We are looking for family support workers in the St Helens area.
Accolade Families Ltd is a social care company, who aim to bring families together. We offer practical and emotional support to parents or those subject to safeguarding and child protection interventions. We work in collaboration with parents to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and motivation to demonstrate change. We fundamentally believe change within families is possible and with the right intervention, change can be long lasting. At Accolade Families, children are always kept in mind, and at the centre.
We offer services such as:
· Outreach sessions in the community, offering respite to foster carers/parents.
· Family time contact supervision
· Supervision within families’ homes
. School transport
· Around the Clock, supervision within the family home
· Specialist parenting programmes
The right candidate should be experienced within the family support sector, flexible, reliable and confident in challenging situations. It is important that they are kind, approachable and have strong emotional intelligence. Candidates should have a UK Driving Licence, be registered on the DBS Update System and experience working with children.

General Responsibilities:
· Support service users on a 1:1 basis
· Observe interactions between parents and children
· To be a consistent role model to families when supporting the care, development, and nurturing of their children
· Ensure children and families are safe and protected from harm by reporting any safeguarding concerns to the duty manager within a timely manner
· Deliver appropriate and meaningful direct work, around budgeting, housework, and relationships
· Work and contribute pro\-actively to the team.
· Support families to participate in the local community, participating in activities and helping them make plans for their future
· Complete timely and accurate observation reports.
· Keep up to date with mandatory training and compliance requests
· Liaise professionally with any other external agencies and individuals supporting the family.
Pay: £13\.45 per hour
