We are currently recruiting for an Adult Neurological Speech and Language Therapist in Liverpool. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional neurological care and support to our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with neurological conditions.
We have part time to full time hours available for a band 6 or 7 speech and language therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in adult patients with neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to improve communication abilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and patient records.
- Stay updated with the latest research and techniques in speech therapy for neurological conditions.
- Proven experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, preferably with a focus on neurological cases.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech therapy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate patients.
- Relevant qualifications in speech therapy or communication disorders.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate approach with a dedication to patient recovery.
- Knowledge of current best practices and evidence\-based therapies.
Pay: £39,959\.00\-£56,515\.00 per year
