Fall Protection Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Fall Protection Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and schematics for fall protection systems, ensuring safety compliance and functional integrity across various construction and industrial projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to safety\-critical systems through advanced design techniques and collaborative project development.

Duties

• Develop comprehensive fall protection system designs using CAD software such as Revit, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, or ArchiCAD.


• Create detailed schematics and technical drawings that meet industry standards and client specifications.


• Utilise modelling tools like SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds \<PERSON\> to generate accurate visualisations of system layouts.


• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to integrate system design within larger construction or system frameworks.


• Conduct system analysis and review design proposals for safety compliance and functional efficacy.


• Assist in the development of graphic representations for client presentations and technical documentation.


• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices in construction and system design.

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, ArchiCAD, and SolidWorks.


• Experience with sketching schematics and technical drawings for construction or engineering projects.


• Strong knowledge of system design principles within industrial or construction environments.


• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into detailed digital models.


• Familiarity with graphic design tools for creating visual presentations of complex systems.


• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in multi\-disciplinary project settings.


• Knowledge of safety standards related to fall protection systems and construction practices is highly desirable. This role is ideal for a creative yet precise designer passionate about safety systems within the construction or industrial sectors. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in CAD\-based design tools and a keen eye for detail to produce innovative solutions that prioritise safety without compromising functionality.

Pay: £32,000\.00\-£51,150\.32 per year
