The post\-holder will work closely with the Dean, Faculty Research Degree Directors, academic colleagues, Registry and central professional services to support the development and review of postgraduate research (PGR) policy and practice. This senior role requires substantial experience of PGR activity in UK higher education, including advising senior stakeholders on regulations and quality assurance. It provides oversight of the PGR lifecycle, alongside responsibility for data analysis, reporting and planning. The post\-holder will support service improvement, ensure compliance, contribute to an inclusive PGR experience, and provide line management, requiring strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
The post\-holder must have an undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience and substantial experience supporting PGR activity in UK higher education, alongside knowledge of PGR regulations and quality assurance requirements. A postgraduate qualification or equivalent is desirable. Further particulars are included in the.
The post is full\-time 35 hours per week 1\.0 FTE and permanent. The post is funded by the Faculty and is available immediately.
The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £45,728 \- £51,872 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
