Overview
The Facilities Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of facilities and reactive maintenance. This position involves overseeing Engineers, Joiners, Plumbers and electricians, coordinating repair schedules, quoting jobs and implementing preventative maintenance programmes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem\-solving, ensuring that all maintenance activities align with organisational goals. There will be use of a pool car for attending site visits
Duties
- Supervise and manage the engineer team, providing guidance and support to ensure high\-quality work standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of jobs t to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate work schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their maintenance needs and address any concerns promptly.
- Experience as Project Manager/ Facilities Maintenance Manager
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem\-solving skills with an analytical mindset to address challenges effectively.
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members, other departments, and external contractors.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to maintenance operations.
Pay: £40,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
