CURVOLT Ltd. are a Semiconductor Research \& Development company based in Cardiff who are looking to employ a permanent Multi\-skilled Facilities Engineer, competent in both Electrical and Mechanical engineering, to conduct operational management of all facilities and infrastructure across the site. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory standards while supporting continuous and efficient production processes. The Facilities Engineer is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive environment. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a comprehensive rolling facilities plan, ensuring seamless day\-to\-day operations, managing vendor partnerships, and coordinating capital projects to progress facility performance and minimize operational downtime.

· Monday to Friday: 0800\-1800\.

· Pension: 7% Employee Contribution, 7% Employer Contribution

· Holidays:

· Free on\-site parking

Experience \& Qualifications

· HND/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent)

· Knowledge of LOTO, PUWER, and other regulatory requirements

· Practical knowledge of CMMS and safe contractor control

Desirable (training available):

· Background in multiskilled engineering or maintenance

· 18th Edition IEE: Wiring \& Installation

· A good understanding of HVAC \& Chilled water systems

· Experience with BMS/BAS

· Health \& Safety certification (e.g. NEBOSH)

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and deliver a rolling facilities plan aligned with business goals

· Aid in CapEx projects, working to budgets, procurement, and contractors

· Oversee facility operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance

· Support production teams to minimise downtime and maintain flow

· Ensure adherence to environmental, and HSE standards

· Manage vendor relationships and contractor control processes (RAMS, PTW, etc.)

· Implement preventive maintenance and emergency response programs

· Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and drive cost\-saving initiatives

· Promote the culture of continuous improvement

· Prepare reports, RFQs, and risk reviews for management
