Role Overview
Barry's Cash \& Carry is seeking an energetic, confident and engaging Facebook Live Sales Presenter to host regular live broadcasts promoting products, special offers, clearance stock and new arrivals.
The successful candidate will become the face of our live sales events, building customer engagement, driving sales and increasing brand awareness through entertaining and informative live presentations.
This role requires excellent communication skills, confidence on camera and the ability to create excitement around products while interacting with customers in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Live Selling \& Product Presentation
- Host regular Facebook Live sessions (daily, weekly or scheduled events).
- Present products in a clear, engaging and persuasive manner.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits and value.
- Highlight special offers, bulk\-buy deals and promotional campaigns.
- Create urgency and excitement to encourage immediate purchases.
- Interact with viewers live by answering questions and responding to comments.
- Encourage participation through competitions, polls and giveaways.
- Build relationships with regular customers and followers.
- Maintain a friendly, professional and enthusiastic on\-screen presence.
- Promote products to maximise sales revenue.
- Identify upselling and cross\-selling opportunities.
- Support achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare product information before each live event.
- Plan presentation schedules and promotional themes.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams regarding stock availability.
- Ensure all advertised prices and offers are accurate.
- Assist with creating promotional content for upcoming live events.
- Help grow Facebook followers and engagement.
- Monitor customer feedback and report trends to management.
- Support other social media platforms where required.
- Ensure all advertising and promotional claims are accurate.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Essential

- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to engage and entertain a live audience.
- Good understanding of Facebook and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Previous experience in:
- Live selling
- Retail sales
- Wholesale or cash \& carry operations
- Social media marketing
- TikTok Shop, Facebook Live or livestream commerce
- Experience using Facebook Business Suite.
- Knowledge of FMCG, household goods, food products or wholesale stock.
- Number of live broadcasts completed.
- Live viewer numbers.
- Audience engagement rate.
- Sales generated from live sessions.
- Growth in Facebook followers.
- Customer conversion rate.
- Repeat customer engagement.
Typical hours may include:
- 20 hours per week.
- Daytime and evening live sessions.
- Occasional weekend promotions and special events.
Performance Bonus:
