Food and beverage is at the heart of the guest experience, and our teams take great pride in delivering memorable service across every outlet and event.
We are part of Distinct Group Ltd who operate hotels and hospitality venues focused on service excellence, teamwork, and guest experience. We are proud members of the Hoteliers’ Charter, committed to fairness, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
We are looking for an F\&B Duty Manager to support the day\-to\-day operation of our food and beverage departments. This is a hands\-on leadership role with significant responsibility and, for the right person, an excellent opportunity to broaden their operational experience within a busy hotel environment.
What you will be doing:
As the F\&B Duty Manager across rotating shifts, you will oversee the daily operation of our restaurant, bar, afternoon tea service and conference and banqueting events. You will lead and support the food and beverage teams, ensuring exceptional guest experiences are delivered at all times whilst maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation and compliance.
Working with the F\&B Ops Manager, you will handle guest enquiries, complaints and reviews, work closely with the kitchen and wider hotel departments, support labour management in line with budget, and have an awareness of how to achieve revenue growth through upselling and service excellence. You will also assist with training and developing team members, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding hospitality.
What you will bring to the team:
You will have proven experience working in food and beverage supervisory or management roles, ideally within a hotel environment. You will be comfortable leading teams during busy service periods, able to make decisions under pressure and possess strong organisational and communication skills.
