Experienced Sofa Installation Specialist

We are a bespoke furniture company seeking an experienced Sofa Installation Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience delivering and installing high\-end sofas or premium furniture, with a strong understanding of handling bespoke, handcrafted and motorised furniture.

Working as part of our delivery and installation team, you will be responsible for transporting, handling and safely installing furniture in customers’ homes. The role will also involve assembling bespoke, handcrafted and motorised sofas, ensuring every installation is completed to the highest standard.

Full training can be provided on specific products and installation procedures. This is a key operational and customer\-facing role, working closely with our factory workshop, warehouse, delivery and customer service teams to ensure a smooth, efficient and professional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries to customers’ homes in a timely, safe, professional and courteous manner.


• Communicate effectively with customers prior to delivery, ensuring they are informed of your expected arrival time.


• Safely transport, manoeuvre and position bespoke and/or motorised furniture in the room requested by the customer.


• Assemble and install bespoke, handcrafted and motorised sofas to the required standard.


• Ensure all furniture is handled with care and installed safely, professionally and with close attention to detail.


• Leave customers’ homes clean and tidy, ensuring all packaging and delivery\-related waste is removed.


• Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining high standards of customer service and care.


• Carry out daily checks of vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects, damage or missing items immediately.


• Comply fully with all applicable driving laws, regulations, company policies and procedures.


• Communicate any changes to delivery schedules clearly and promptly to all relevant parties.


• Work closely with the Factory/Warehouse Manager and staff to support the safe off and onloading of incoming containers, deliveries and other loads.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and efficiency across vehicles, equipment and working areas.

• A minimum of three years’ experience delivering and installing high\-end sofas or premium furniture.


• A full, clean and valid driving licence.


• Experience handling, manoeuvring and installing large and heavy furniture safely.


• Strong practical skills, with excellent attention to detail.


• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with and helping customers.


• A strong customer\-focused approach, with pride in your work and the ability to communicate confidently and professionally.
