Experienced Kitchen and Interior Sales Designer (Min 2+Years)

Whatever your sales background we are looking for a full\-time Sales Designer for our Schmidt showroom in the heart of the vibrant of Cheltenham.

At Schmidt we’ve been designing precision, made\-to\-measure furniture for more than 80 years, creating innovative solutions and offering our customers complete freedom in customizing designs and functionality to create the heart of any home.

In this role experience in retail and/or interior design is an advantage but not essential as we offer a comprehensive outstanding induction programme on products, CAD systems, and sales techniques.

You will create and deliver projects from that first greeting through to installation.

This includes meeting clients both in our showroom and at their homes, carrying out measurements, while offering professional advice and recommendations through to ultimately closing the sale while ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

We are looking for someone, like you, with a natural warmth and friendliness and a highly professional approach to design and sales and we also need you to be flexible as this may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

• Great Kitchen or Interior solutions industry awareness and demonstrable IT literacy.


• Have a “can\-do” attitude, a conscientious and creative approach with a strong desire to succeed and confidence in closing a sale.


• Be the single point of contact fro your client projects ensuring seamless communication and co\-ordination throughout and achieve showroom KPI targets.


• Demonstrate you are enthusiastic, willing to learn and develop personally.

In return for your commitment we offer.

• A highly competitive basic salary with an attractive uncapped bonus scheme means OTE in the range £45,000 \- £55,000 and beyond for high performing candidates.

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
