Take pride in your craft? Want to work with premium stone and industry\-leading machinery?

Belgravia Stone is looking for a Granite and Quartz Polisher to join our York\-based team — fabricating beautiful Granite, Marble, Quartz and Ceramic worktops that end up in some of the region's finest homes.

If you're hands\-on, dependable, and love seeing a raw slab transformed into a flawless finished piece this could be the role for you.

Who we are

Belgravia Stone is a specialist fabricator and installer of premium stone worktops based at our well\-equipped workshop in Sutton on the Forest, York. We supply and install Granite, Marble, Quartz and Ceramic surfaces for kitchens, bathrooms and commercial projects — and we're known for quality, precision and a no\-shortcuts approach.

Our workshop is fitted with the latest CNC and saw technology, and our team takes genuine pride in the work that leaves our doors.

What you’ll be doing

· Be efficient and effective in your workload management to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.

· Using grinders, polishers and hand tools confidently and safely

· Lifting and transporting stone safely as part of the team

· Keeping your work areas and installations clean, organised and safe — and your tools maintained

· Flagging consumables and tooling needs to the Workshop Manager

About you – we would like you to have the following experience but if you don’t let us know about the experience you do have and why it would be good for this role.

· Experience polishing all types of natural and engineered stone. Confident, accurate use of polishers, grinders and hand tools

· Ability to read and work from digital drawings

· Experience within the stone, construction or worktop industry

· Reliable, hardworking and well\-organised — with good timekeeping

· A safety\-first mindset and commitment to wearing PPE

Nice to have – desirable but we can train you.

· Previous worktop fabrication or stonemasonry experience

· A keen eye for detail and finish quality
