Full\-time \| Private Dental Practice

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Dental Nurse to join our boutique private dental practice in Temple Fortune, North West London (NW11\).

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines Dental Nursing, Reception, Administration and Treatment Coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our established and experienced team, helping to deliver an outstanding patient experience from the first point of contact through to the completion of treatment.

The Role

This is a multifaceted position requiring a candidate who is confident both clinically and administratively.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Dental Nursing Duties

  • Chairside assistance for dentists and specialists.

  • Preparation and sterilisation of instruments and treatment rooms.

  • Maintaining compliance with CQC and infection control standards.

  • Assisting with patient care and clinical administration.
Reception \& Administration Duties
  • Providing a professional and welcoming front\-of\-house service.

  • Managing patient appointments and diary scheduling.

  • Handling incoming calls, emails and patient enquiries.

  • Processing payments and following practice financial procedures.

  • Managing invoices, deliveries and general practice administration.

  • Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry.

  • Supporting the Practice Manager with day\-to\-day operations.
Treatment Coordinator Duties
  • Discussing treatment plans with patients.

  • Explaining treatment options and associated costs.

  • Coordinating patient journeys from consultation through to completion of treatment.

  • Following up enquiries and treatment plans.

  • Building strong patient relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Helping patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their treatment journey.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered preferred).

  • Previous experience within a dental practice.

  • Experience in reception, administration or treatment coordination.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Positive, professional and patient\-focused attitude.

  • Good command of written and spoken English.

  • Competent IT skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to make day\-to\-day decisions in line with the practice ethos.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience within a private dental practice.

  • Previous Treatment Coordinator experience.

  • Familiarity with SOE/EXACT software.

  • Sales and customer service experience.
