Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air source heat pump systems across various sites. Duties
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot air source heat pump systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Lead technical teams during installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
- Diagnose faults within complex HVAC systems using specialised tools and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members or clients as required.
- Collaborate with construction teams during system integration phases to ensure seamless installation processes.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system modifications for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Proven experience in air source heat pump installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or supervising technical teams.
- Knowledge of equipment repair techniques specific to air conditioning units and heat pumps.
- Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC system integration.
- Excellent problem\-solving abilities combined with attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC engineering or refrigeration technology are highly desirable.
