Events & Young Chamber Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Events \& Young Chamber Manager to lead the development and delivery of our events programme, develop sponsorship opportunities, and manage our Young Chamber initiatives. This role is central to strengthening member engagement, connecting businesses with future talent and enhancing the Chamber’s commercial growth.

We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic, and commercially minded person to lead an exciting area of our business. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and wants to play a key role in building and developing a growing events offer. This is a full\-time role based in Chester with the need to travel across West Cheshire and North Wales to attend events, meet partners, and deliver Young Chamber activities. Hybrid working is available and can be discussed as part of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and deliver a varied programme of Chamber events, ensuring high standards, strong attendance, and effective promotion.


• Manage event logistics, budgets, suppliers, venues, and member communications.


• Develop and secure sponsorship opportunities, creating value for partners and supporting revenue growth.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, sponsors, schools, colleges, and community partners.


• Lead the Young Chamber programme, delivering activities that support skills development, and future talent pipeline development


• Ensure compliance with risk, governance, and health \& safety requirements.


• Contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture and take ownership of personal development.

• Experience in events management and stakeholder engagement


• Strong organisational and communication skills


• Commercial awareness with confidence in developing sponsorships


• Ability to engage effectively with young people and educational partners


• Proactive, professional, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
