About Farm Originals Restaurants

Farm Originals Restaurants is a growing hospitality group in the City of London, close to Farringdon.

Our venues include Origin City, our British fine\-dining restaurant; 56 West Smithfield, our neighbourhood wine bar; and Farm Shop by Origin, our deli and café.

Each venue has its own identity, but they share the same commitment to quality ingredients, provenance, warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences.

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and commercially minded Events \& Reservations Coordinator to increase event bookings and generate revenue across our venues.

This is a central, guest\-facing role. You will act as a key point of contact for private dining, group bookings, corporate events and other enquiries, representing the Farm Originals group professionally from the first conversation through to the confirmed booking and final handover to the venue team.

You will respond promptly to enquiries, understand what each guest or organiser is looking for and recommend the most suitable venue, package or experience. You will follow up consistently, conduct venue showrounds and build positive relationships with guests, personal assistants, corporate organisers and local businesses.

You will also take a proactive approach to generating new business. This will include identifying potential clients, introducing them to our venues, developing relationships with corporate and local contacts and exploring new revenue opportunities across the group.

Working closely with venue managers and Head Chefs, you will help develop attractive offers, event packages and plans for key occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas and other seasonal or commercial opportunities.

You will coordinate with the Marketing Manager to ensure the right venues, events and packages are supported through social media, newsletters and campaigns. You will provide the necessary information, priorities and commercial focus, but you will not be responsible for independently managing the group’s wider marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations, event enquiries and group\-booking opportunities across all Farm Originals venues.

  • Understand each venue’s offer, availability and guest experience and recommend the most suitable option.

  • Conduct venue showrounds and confidently present our spaces, menus, packages and experiences.

  • Build and maintain relationships with personal assistants, corporate organisers, local businesses and other potential clients.

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.

  • Coordinate event details with venue managers, Head Chefs and operational teams, ensuring a clear handover before delivery.

  • Manage and optimise platforms including SevenRooms, OpenTable and Tagvenue.

  • Ensure venue listings, availability, menus, packages and booking information remain accurate and commercially effective.

  • Work with managers and chefs to develop packages and offers for private events, group dining and key seasonal occasions.

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager on which events, packages and venue experiences should be promoted through social media, newsletters and campaigns.

  • Represent the group warmly and professionally during venue visits, meetings and relevant networking opportunities.
About You

You are organised, energetic and commercially aware, with the confidence to turn guest enquiries into confirmed bookings.

You communicate promptly and professionally, manage multiple venues and priorities effectively, and take ownership from enquiry through to operational handover.

You are personable, well\-mannered and professional in your presentation, representing the company to a consistently high standard. Relevant experience in hospitality reception, reservations, events coordination or venue sales is essential.

You Should Have

  • Relevant experience in hospitality reception, reservations, event sales or venue coordination.

  • A good understanding of restaurant, bar or hospitality operations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confidence speaking with guests, personal assistants, corporate organisers and business contacts.

  • A proactive and commercially focused approach to enquiries and new\-business opportunities.

  • Evidence of following up enquiries and contributing to confirmed bookings or revenue.

  • Excellent organisation, administration and attention to detail.

  • Confidence managing booking systems, digital platforms, shared calendars and guest information.

  • The ability to manage several venues, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

  • The ability to build productive relationships with chefs, venue managers and operational teams.

  • Confidence presenting venues and conducting showrounds.

  • A practical, hands\-on attitude and willingness to support a growing business.
Experience using SevenRooms, OpenTable, TheFork, Tagvenue or similar platforms is highly desirable.
