About the role
Soul Fire Yoga is looking for an Events \& Marketing Manager to promote the studio services across social media, email, and in\-studio channels. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic person to lead the planning, execution, and promotion of our diverse events and marketing initiatives. This role is vital in elevating our brand presence, engaging our community, and driving revenue growth through innovative event strategies and compelling marketing campaigns. You'll be the creative and organisational engine behind the events held here, alongside our regular services, and how Soul Fire shows up \- both online and in the studio.

What you'll do:

*Marketing*

  • Build and execute an annual events and marketing plan

  • Plan, create, and schedule content across social media (photos, video, reels, stories) on Facebook and Instagram

  • Write and send email campaigns via Constant Contact (newsletters, offers, schedule updates)

  • Design promotional materials in Canva for classes, workshops, events, and partners

  • Create and update in\-studio posters, rotating them weekly as events change

  • Manage and update the studio website
*Event Coordination \& Operational Support*
  • Add and manage events, and courses in Momence (booking software), and other event platforms

  • Network and onboard workshop, training, and event leaders

  • Develop growth strategy and consistency for branded events:

  • (i.e. quality yoga education and socially impactful initiatives)

  • Contribute to quarterly teacher meetings and schedule shifts
What we're looking for
  • (Social Media) Marketing experience is a MUST

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar)

  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating varied content formats

  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling marketing and logistics

  • Genuine enthusiasm for yoga, wellness, and studio culture

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive event plans that align with organizational goals, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to secure resources, manage budgets, and oversee logistics for all events

  • Promote upcoming events through targeted marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, email outreach, and local partnerships

  • Engage with guests and attendees to enhance their experience, providing exceptional guest services that foster loyalty and positive word\-of\-mouth

  • Identify opportunities for upselling during events to increase revenue streams while maintaining high\-quality service standards

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing tasks effectively through excellent time management skills

  • Track event performance metrics and gather feedback to continuously improve future initiatives
Experience
  • Proven experience in event planning, marketing, or hospitality roles within restaurants or hotels

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, vendors, guests, and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services in a customer\-focused environment

  • Familiarity with fundraising activities or community engagement initiatives is a plus

  • Prior experience in guest services or hospitality settings enhances understanding of guest expectations and service excellence
Pay: From £13\.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15\.0 per week
